FIDDLER'S ELBOW - The Rattlesnake Bridge Road entrance to the clubhouse is adjacent to Interstate Route 78, and is only 30 minutes from Newark International Airport and is less than one hour from New York City. The Club’s helipad offers the convenience of air travel from all corporate heliports or commercial airports.

The two story Clubhouse built of Pennsylvania fieldstone boasts richly appointed accommodations including the chandeliered Lamington Dining Room, award-winning Wine Cellar, distinctive Library and elegant Somerset Ballroom. In addition, there are a variety of private conference and meeting rooms that can accommodate all size groups. Each room has its own warmth and character.

At this very special bridal show evening brides, grooms-to-be and their families will preview New Jersey's premier Country Club while they shop and plan their wedding.  Take a tour of Fiddler's Elbow and speak with their wedding consultants and all new wedding packages.

Its fascinating history, picturesque grounds and superb facilities make Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club a most memorable place for your wedding. Located in New Jersey’s ecologically rich Upper Raritan Watershed, Fiddler’s property is divided between Somerset and Hunterdon Counties by the winding and twisting waters of the Lamington River, a branch of the Black River. Interestingly, it was the waterway that gave Fiddler’s its most unique name. At a town meeting to officially dub the course, the Black River Country Club, a club attorney, reviewing an old map of the property, noticed a spot south of the existing clubhouse marked “Fiddler’s Elbow”.  Sure enough, at this point the Lamington made a bend resembling the arm of a man playing a fiddle. The owners immediately adopted the new name and it has since enjoyed a niche in the local lore.
